Abstract
Research ethics is frequently confined to informed consent forms or a final lecture on plagiarism. This conceptual article argues that integrity must be embedded across the complete research lifecycle. It presents a six-stage model covering problem selection, design, participant engagement, data stewardship, analysis and reporting, and publication, translating ethical duties into practical questions and classroom supports.
