Abstract
Marungko-inspired materials introduce sounds in a purposeful sequence and move learners from letters to syllables, words, phrases, and sentences. This conceptual-design article proposes an orthographic-alignment framework for adapting that logic to English phonology, word meaning, grammar, and connected-text comprehension. It offers an audit matrix and a six-phase lesson cycle moving through oral sound analysis, grapheme mapping, blending, sentence reading, meaning construction, and encoding.
